Summary

In my post, I am remembering one of the crew members on a plane during the horrific 9/11 event. CeeCee Ross Lyles was a Flight Attendant on one of the 4 planes that was hijacked. She was able to contact her husband and said a fair well goodbye.

Dear CeeCee Ross Lyles, 9/11 was a tragedy, you've experienced one of the worst events in history. I honestly have to thank you for your bravery and courage. You know, I lived in Florida for half of my life! You were a smart, caring, and excellent role model! A detective sounds like a good job! I'm interested in being a detective one day! You inspire me to become one! I feel so bad that you didn't get to say goodbye to your boys. You and the others have figured out what was happening, and instead of thinking, you acted. This helps save a bunch of lives. You all have done the best you can and showed pride in your actions. We will never forget it.

I couldn't even imagine the sounds and feelings you must've had during that time. While the sounds of gunshots, people crying and screaming, the pain and agony you all experienced was terrible. We won't ever forget your courage, ever. You may have missed all the things you would've got to experience as any other person now would've, like continuing working, going to different countries, or just simply enjoying your next meal. However, that doesn't mean that what you've done was wrong.

You deserve the honor of us remembering you, your actions, and your dedication to making America, stronger. A United Nation, always a United Nation. I hope you know that we will always remember this, and won't forget about you! I hope you will be reunited with your family.
