Family of Nicole Carol Miller,

After learning about your family member in class this year, we know that you remember Nicole with boundless energy and ambition. When Nicole was younger she was so into planes. She was a dean’s list student at West Valley College in Saratoga, California. We read that she was very busy and had a part time job as a waitress, taught fitness classes at her hometown gym, and worked out daily. She was planning on transferring to California University to finish her degree. When she made a last minute trip with her friend, they went to some beaches and other places before boarding separate planes. A thunder storm hit on the evening of September 10th, that forced Nicole to reschedule her flight until the next morning. She is survived by a great group of people including her parents, stepparents, and siblings. September 11th was a harsh, heartbreaking day for so many people, everyone was heartbroken that day for so many reasons. No one knew if their family member or friend or anyone they knew would be coming home from a harsh day, everyone was so confused and didn’t know what to expect. Nicole made time for a boyfriend of six years, Ryan Brown. They met during a ski trip to Lake Tahoe during their junior year in high school. She made 21 years of her life as fun and joyful as possible. If that thunderstorm never happened and she would have just taken the first flight home she could be doing great and amazing things now. The flight members of flight 93 are heroes to everyone, and everyone is devastated about September 11th, and their family members about their loss. I can’t imagine how it would have felt to be sitting on that plane and realize you are not going to be home the next day. Your family member aboard Flight 93 is today and will always be a hero. This story will never be forgotten. It is being shared with many people today.
