Deora Frances Bodley

Hello, dear family of Deora Frances Bodley.

Deora Frances Bodley was an amazing person, always active in her community, and volunteering at animal shelters. She attended Santa Clara University, and studied French there. Deora Frances Bodley aspired to be a Child Psychologist. Deora's favorite things to do were reading, writing, spending time at the pool, baking, and making crafts. The day before 9/11/2001, the flight was canceled due to a storm. Flight 93 was originally going to land in San Francisco. But the plane was soon hijacked and flown towards Washington D.C., and it sadly crashed in a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania. When she was on Flight 93, she and 39 other people fought and prayed for their last 30 minutes. Everyone on Flight 93 was a hero, because everyone was working together to be able to attack the hijackers and caused the plane to crash somewhere else, preventing the plane from causing an even worse tragedy. After 9/11/2001 America tried to find out who caused the attack on 9/11/2001, so when they found out people hiding in Afghanistan caused 9/11/2001. America went to war with forces inside that country and in other places, and America sadly lost many people while fighting for all the sad losses during 9/11/2001. I am so sorry for your loss, may Deora Frances Bodley rest in peace.
