My Connection to this Country

Why traditions make you feel connected

By Jayden P. from Copper Hills High School in Utah

What would my American Creed be? What makes me grateful for this country? It would be that people are willing to give up there life so our families can enjoy freedom and not have to worry about possibly getting attacked.

There's also the holidays all of us share like 4th of July we wouldn't have that holiday if the army didn't fight for our freedom and hearing the explosions from the fire works you can only imagine what they were hearing and seeing.

Everyone values something that may be your family, your dog, or your country.  With every person who values something, there's a connection to the country.
