“Whatever you're going to be, be a good one,” said Abraham Lincoln. America: a growing country with many people. A diverse community with many ethnic groups. Being an American citizen is about serving our community and country in a way that benefits all of us.

“Whatever you're going to be, be a good one,” said Abraham Lincoln. America: a growing country with many people. A diverse community with many ethnic groups. Being an American citizen is about serving our community and country in a way that benefits us and our people.

To begin with, in America it is an honor to serve in the Armed Forces and help our country out. Many people voluntarily donate their time to serve. Even though entering the United States Armed Forces can be nerve racking in that you don't know if you will get to come home and see your family; it is rewarding because you’re a part of something bigger than yourself. Joining this group of patriots is an amazing accomplishment for many people. In the United States, if you are willing and healthy, you have an opportunity to fight for our freedoms.

Generally speaking, in the wonderful alliance of states kindness is a large part of our society. Kindness is your choice to act towards others as you would have them do unto you Having a good attitude towards law enforcement and having a good attitude in general is expected of you every day. Helping someone open the door if they have their hands full can be a rewarding experience.

In addition, community is detrimental to our society. Being involved in your community is positive and can have a pleasant outcome on your future. Community in America will always encourage optimism. Community will help you in times of need, and assist you when you need it the most. Coming together through tragedies and natural disasters can bring out the best in us Americans. For example, in September of 2017, Hurricane Harvey barreled through Southeast Texas causing the worst damage from a natural disaster this state had ever seen. In an effort to help the grief stricken communities, people came with supplies and boats to help the victims of the disaster.

In conclusion, America is a diverse community with many different people living in our borders; however, we are united because we want to serve our diverse people. Our actions decide our fate in the world, and they can determine our compassion for others. If we are Americans, let’s be good Americans. To begin with, in America it is an honor to serve in the Armed Forces and help our country out. Many people voluntarily donate their time to serve.
