American Creed

We need to stop allowing political parties divide us.

By jaxson from Hazen Middle School in North Dakota

Our country is divided. It's different political parties always fighting each other. We can never agree. We need to be friends and join together. This is why our country has problems. Yeah, we will never agree or believe the same thing, but we can’t hate each other over it. I know someone who is independent but leans a little left, but we can still be friends.

Having political parties divides us. George Washington never wanted us to have political parties because he knew it would divide us. In 1861, we were divided, and we went to war against our brothers, our uncles, our dads, and our sons. I don’t think we want that again.

Get together with democrats or republican and talk, find same believes, and have friends with other political parties.
