Dear Parents and brother of Toshiya Kuge

After doing research on Flight 93, I came across Toshiya, who had a very interesting and bright story. When I was doing my research the thing that I saw the most was about how bright of a student he was. I'm sure you are proud to have a son like him. He was an enriching student and played linebacker the first year of college. Toshiya was so kind he shared his lunch with two ladies named Debbie Schiies and Kristine White. They said that Toshyia was a kind and gentle person. All the websites said that Toshiya was an independent and outgoing college student. It must have been hard, no one can imagine how hard it would have been to lose him. He would always speak of friendliness and his appreciation of nature. He went hiking, white water rafting, and saw the Statue of Liberty on his vacation. He went to America for vacation and for his love of American football. I’m sure he would be in the NFL by now with his confidence and love for the sport. He was a loving and caring individual who excelled in athletics and academics at Waseda University. He had a goal of obtaining a graduate degree from an American university; he would have definitely finished his goal. 9/11 was a horrible day in general, but on Flight 93 your son made a lot of friends. He was a hero. Toshiya is an inspiration to be a better person. I'm sure a lot of people agree with me. All of these people overcame a difficult situation and took down the terrorists in under 20 minutes. All around the world September 11th was an extremely bad, heartbreaking day. Many people's family members were lost that day everyone knew it would lead to a war, and it did. The war lasted 20 years. That day led to a lot of changes in air travel.

Sincerely,

Ryker Coniglio
