My poem is bout my grandfathers determination to immigrate to this country for opportunities for himself, his children and for future generations.
A Dream

Determination and perseverance,
Is what got me here.
A goal and A dream
Achieved the opportunity of a lifetime.
My grandfather,
A wise and determined soul
Is who got me here.
Migrating to this country was a scary thing
But he did it anyways
To open doors
And to have more opportunities
For himself,
His children,
And for future generations
