My American Creed

One of the strongest American ideals is pride. Taking pride in your home, our country, symbolized by the strips and stars of the American flag. But it doesn't stop there, pride is not silent. Pride comes in every shape and form, and we are able to express this because of our beautiful freedom. But not only is pride connected to our nation, but to ourselves as individuals. Freedom has brought so many different types of people, with so many different cultures, different opinions, differents morals, different lives. Our nation opens the world to every voice, of every race and of every gender. To take pride in our nation, is to take pride in our differences, and in ourselves. My American Creed is the pride that I take in my family and my differences, and my ability to experience the rest of the world in just one nation.
