Expressing your American creed through action is very important because it brings your community together and helps you to become a better person. There are many ways to express your American creed, for example, you start a sports program or club to unite your community and bring different groups of people together. Another way you can express your American creed is by starting a charity. Charities are a good way to give back to your community and help those who are in need and less fortunate than you.

In 1994 Nelson Mandela became the president of South Africa and was faced with the challenge of uniting the country. The country was split between white and black South Africans. Mandela believed that if he wanted to unite the country, he had to give them something to unite over. Mandela began to embrace the countries, national rugby team. That year South Africa won the Rugby World Cup. As a result, black and white South Africans began to bond over rugby, uniting the country. Joe Maddon saw a need for unity in his hometown in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, and started the Hazleton Integration Project. The goal of this project is to bring together the cultures in the city. Joe Maddon wanted to start programs that bring together families. Joe Maddon believed that if you give kids a common goal, they will become friends no matter their race or religion.

One way I can express my American creed through action is by starting a charity. The goal of this charity will be to provide food, clothes, and toys to families that are in need. Showing struggling families that there are people that care about them and want to help them is very important. I believe this is a great way to understand what other families are going through and give them hope. Starting a charity will also help bring together the community and start new friendships.

Expressing your American creed through action is an easy way to unite your community and make it a better place. Two great ways to express your American creed through action is by starting a sports program or club, and by starting a charity.
